OTH operates service vehicles equipped with many of the same features as tow trucks and roll-backs but are better equipped to handle recoveries off-pavement. Most modern towing equipment is simply too expensive to risk taking off-road even into local dirt roads, farms, yards, construction sites, or anywhere there is not firm pavement beneath tires designed for highway travel.

This is where we can help!

 

We are not a towing company and we can get a lot of places towing companies either don’t want to or can’t take their vehicles. We actually work WITH tow companies to assist their efforts or to bring vehicles from the off-road environment to the pavement where they can tow the vehicle if necessary.

We have recovered tractors, implements, delivery trucks, full-size semi trucks and trailers, mobile cranes and “cherry-pickers,” man-lifts, fork lifts, etc., and even the occasional recreational off-roader. Granted, there are some places even we can’t go, but we have additional equipment that can help us conduct recoveries up to 500 feet away from the service truck.

Our equipment includes all of the following:

• 12,000 Pound Winches

• 400+ feet of 28,000-pound rated synthetic winch lines

• 20- and 30-feet kinetic recovery ropes

• 20,000-pound rated snatch blocks

• Tow Straps rated up to 60,000 pounds

• Scotch Blocks / Chocks

• Tools including impact wrenches, soft shackles, hand tools, receiver hitches specifically designed for recovery, chainsaws, high-lift jack, and a variety of equipment that can even support a trail or off-road repair
